Tianchen Company’s Vietnam low-temperature ethane tank project: In March 2025, China National Chemical Corporation Tianchen signed an EPCC turnkey contract for a 2×55,000-ton capacity low-temperature ethane tank project with Longshan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in Vietnam, which is part of the Thai Siam Cement Group. The successful signing of this project not only marks a breakthrough of \"zero\" for Sinochem in the field of low-temperature tank projects in Southeast Asia, but it also represents the first time that leading enterprises from China, Thailand, and Vietnam have collaborated in the chemical industry. It provides an innovative model for China and ASEAN to work together to advance the Belt and Road Initiative in a high-quality manner within the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). The project under this agreement is located in the Long Son Chemical Complex area in Da Nang City, Vietnam. It represents Vietnam’s first petrochemical complex along with its supporting facilities, and its successful implementation will inject new momentum into the upgrading of the complex’s production capacity. The project optimizes the production process by increasing the proportion of ethane used, thereby enhancing production stability while reducing carbon dioxide emissions. Tianchen Company attaches great importance to this matter; it promptly assembled a core team, focused on the key and challenging aspects of the project, carefully planned everything, actively and efficiently mobilized various resources, and carried out preliminary design work in advance ； In foundation treatment, pile foundation design, and simulation calculations for storage tank exteriors, the company made full use of its technical expertise in prestressed concrete storage tanks. By integrating the technical requirements of Chinese standards, European and American standards, Vietnamese local regulations, as well as Thai engineering practices, it completed the project feasibility study report, verification processes, and relevant approvals in advance. At the same time, it carried out trial pile tests in the storage tank area and designed the pile foundation drawings, thereby expanding the scope of the \"T\" concept. This approach was recognized and approved by the local government and the project owner, marking a historic breakthrough in new markets in Southeast Asia.
