Hubei Yihua plans to invest 2.233 billion yuan in a project for the high-value utilization of phosphorus and fluorine resources 2025-10-27 13:36:07 On October 25, Hubei Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd. issued a announcement stating that it would invest in this project through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hubei Yihua Chuxing Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. The project includes a 600,000-ton/year sulfur-based sulfuric acid production facility, a 150,000-ton/year wet-process phosphoric acid production facility (including concentration), a 100,000-ton/year refined phosphoric acid production facility, a 50,000-ton/year high-grade flame retardant production facility, a 200,000-ton/year multi-functional compound fertilizer production facility, as well as supporting auxiliary facilities. The by-products include fluorosilicic acid, washing acid, raffinate acid, and phosphogypsum, with a total investment of approximately 2.233 billion yuan. The project is expected to take approximately 18 months to complete, with funding coming from raised capital as well as own or self-financed funds. Upon completion, the project will optimize resource allocation, achieve a balance between sulfuric acid and steam, unlock the production potential of existing facilities, and enable the high-value utilization of phosphorus resources as well as the fluorosilicon resources associated with phosphate ores.
