Shanxi Hongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd.’s 2.16 million tons per year coking project with carbonization chambers 6.25 meters in height – upgrade and transformation of the coking technology. Location: Jianhe Industrial Park, Guxian Economic and Technological Development Zone, Linfen City. Project overview: This is a coking project with a capacity of 2.16 million tons per year, part of a strategy to replace smaller units with larger ones; it uses 3×65-hole JL6253D type carbonization chambers with a height of 6.25 meters, along with 2×190 tons per hour quenching systems and 1×50MW steam turbine generators. Part of the purified coke oven gas is reused in the coke ovens, while the remaining coke oven gas is sent to Shanxi Jianuo New Energy Co., Ltd.’s comprehensive utilization project for coke oven gas, where it is used to produce LNG and liquid ammonia. The total investment for the project is 3,173,850.9 million yuan, of which the investment in environmental protection amounts to 543,650 million yuan.
