On November 15, more good news came from the site of the Donghua Energy (Maoming) 10,000-ton carbon fiber project, which is being constructed by the Guangdong branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s 13th Construction Company: two 35kV oil-immersed transformers were successfully lifted and placed in position in one go, thanks to the precise coordination of two 42-ton boom cranes. This lifting operation was quite challenging. Before it commenced, the project team provided thorough instructions regarding the location of the lifting equipment and its radius of rotation. They also adopted an innovative approach by using two 42-ton telescopic cranes in conjunction to carry out the task. Thanks to their flexible lifting techniques, they were able to complete this \"high-precision\" installation in a confined space, effectively overcoming the limitations posed by the limited working area. This demonstrated the project’s excellent technical skills and management capabilities. The successful installation of the two transformers removed a key obstacle to the subsequent full power supply and individual unit testing for the project, thus pressing the ‘accelerator’ on its construction. The project team stated that it will continue to pursue all tasks with high standards to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
