On April 17, Shanxi Jinyuan Bioenergy Technology Co., Ltd. issued a notice stating that the construction of 200,000 tons per year of green methanol as part of the first phase of its 300,000 tons per year green methanol integrated project in Lingwu, Ningxia, has been halted. Project Name: Phase 1 of the 300,000-ton green methanol integrated project at Lingwu, Ningxia, by Shanxi Jinyuan Biomass Technology Co., Ltd. – 200,000 tons of green methanol production. The main components of this project include: biomass gas production facilities; these facilities encompass processes such as biomass storage, preprocessing, fermentation, gas purification, storage in gas tanks, gas compression, and the use of gas boilers, along with various auxiliary devices. The biomass biogas production facility is located in Xinhuo Village, Baitugang Township, Lingwu City, covering an area of 595.59 mu. Biogas long-distance pipelines: The specific scope includes biogas long-distance pipelines, valve rooms, starting and ending stations, fiber-optic leakage monitoring systems, cathodic protection, and crossing projects. The diameter of the gas transmission pipeline is D406.4 mm, running from Baaitugang as the starting point to Lingzhou as the ending station, with a straight-line distance of 31 km. The biogas-to-methanol plant includes: biogas decarburization, natural gas conversion, methanol production units, hydrogen production via water electrolysis, methanol purification systems, product storage areas, loading stations, as well as all the utility systems and auxiliary production equipment required for the plant’s operation. Located in Majiatan Town, Lingwu, it covers an area of 319.70 mu. Construction location: Yinchuan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Yinchuan City.
