Jiaozuo Duofuduo New Materials’ 290-million-yuan technical renovation project to produce 100,000 tons per year of fluoride salt series materials

On November 20, the Jiaozuo Environmental Protection Bureau accepted the application for the technical renovation project of Duofuduo New Materials Co., Ltd., aimed at increasing the annual production capacity of fluoride salt series materials to 100,000 tons, and made it public. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Technical renovation project to increase annual production capacity of fluoride salt series materials to 100,000 tons； Construction unit: Dofuodo New Materials Co., Ltd ； Construction nature: Renovation ； Construction location: South of Xinyuan Road and west of Jing Er Road in Zhongzhan District, Jiaozuo City, within the company’s original factory area ； Construction investment: 295 million yuan ； Construction content and scale: (1) Utilize existing idle factory buildings to build a new sodium fluoride production line with an annual capacity of 2,000 tons ； HF and sodium fluoride are prepared using fluosilicic acid as a raw material. (2) Utilize the idle factory buildings from the existing \"30,000 t/a inorganic fluoride cosolvent project\" to build a new production line for high-purity sodium fluoride with an annual capacity of 1,000 tons, using high-purity HF and NaOH as raw materials. (3) Renovation of the 60,000 t/a anhydrous aluminum fluoride production line: The existing facility currently has 2 production lines with a capacity of 30,000 t/a each for anhydrous aluminum fluoride; the capacity for producing anhydrous aluminum fluoride using anhydrous hydrofluoric acid is 49,000 t/a ； As these two production lines were built quite some time ago, some of their equipment is outdated. Considering factors such as safety and economic efficiency in large-scale operation, the company has decided to shut down one of the production lines and carry out technical upgrades on the other, in order to increase its production capacity from 30,000 t/a to 47,000 t/a ； Upon completion of this project, the plant’s capacity for anhydrous aluminum fluoride will decrease from 49,000 t/a to 47,000 t/a, a reduction of 2,000 t/a. (4) Renovate the silica gel production and packaging workshops in the existing \"Comprehensive Utilization Project of Low-Grade Fluorosilicon Resources (Phase I)\", utilizing some of the existing equipment to produce 30,000 tons per year of polymeric cryolite using fluorosilicic acid, industrial salts, 12% ammonia water, sodium hydroxide, and aluminum hydroxide as raw materials, with silica gel as a by-product. (5) Upgrade the existing \"Demonstration Project for Clean Production of High-Performance Inorganic Fluorides\" to produce 6,000 tons per year of high-purity cryolite using single cryolite as raw material, and to produce 6,000 tons per year of high-purity cryolite using cryolite after lithium extraction as raw material ； The total production capacity of cryolite remains unchanged before and after the technical upgrade, at 12,000 tons per year.
