Recently, Strait (Xinjiang) Energy Co., Ltd. released the first public notice regarding public participation in the environmental impact assessment for its 2.4 million tons/year medium-temperature coal tar deep processing project (with a first-phase capacity of 1.2 million tons/year). Upon completion, the project will produce 800,000 tons of distillate oil, 300,000 tons of carbon black oil, and 164,000 tons of coal powder per year.
