On December 1, the Huhuey chlorine-alkali project site in Argentina reached a key milestone: the joint inspection of the facilities in the auxiliary areas under the \"three inspections and four determinations\" process was successfully completed. This inspection, organized jointly by the owner, project management party, and the company’s construction team, marks the official transition of the project from the installation and construction phase to the stage of system finalization and preparation for commissioning. During the inspection, the joint working group of the three parties went deep into various equipment units in the auxiliary areas, and in strict accordance with the criteria of \"checking for design omissions, assessing the quality of the work and potential hazards, as well as examining unfinished work\", as well as those of \"establishing procedures, formulating plans and measures, assigning personnel, and setting deadlines\", they conducted a thorough and detailed inspection of systems such as process pipelines, electrical instrumentation, equipment installation, and fire safety. The on-site technicians immediately documented and discussed some of the detailed issues identified during the inspection, and together they agreed on a remediation plan and a deadline for completion.
The first piece of equipment for the chlor-alkali project in Jujuy, Argentina, carried out by Erhua Jian, was successfully lifted into place. Recently, the first equipment for this chlor-alkali facility in that province was installed accurately, marking the entry of the region’s first modern chlor-alkali project into the equipment installation phase. Facing the challenges of a Spanish-speaking work environment, the project team innovated its working methods. From safety training and visual presentation of drawings to the development of multilingual checklists and on-site guidance, the team worked closely together and managed to complete the entire process of unpacking, inspecting, transporting, and installing the equipment efficiently within just 3 hours. This was a successful demonstration of the use of standard hand signals by operators from China and Argentina, which helped overcome language barriers during the lifting of heavy equipment. The success of this lifting operation marks the full implementation of China’s chemical construction standards in the South American market. This project represents another proactive effort by Erhua Jian to advance the Belt and Road Initiative and enhance the influence of its international brand, contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to the development of the global new energy industry.
