On January 23, 2026, the list of candidates for the EPC project related to the upgrade and renovation of the wet desulfurization and denitrification systems for coke oven flue gas at Inner Mongolia Hengkun Chemical Co., Ltd. was made public. Inner Mongolia Hengkun Chemical Co., Ltd. plans to install a set of flue gas desulfurization and denitration equipment for backup coke ovens. This project is a tender for design, procurement, and EPC construction of construction drawings, focusing on the upgrading of the existing wet desulfurization and denitration systems for coke oven flue gas, as well as the installation of a new set of denitration systems for coke oven flue gas that utilize \"dry desulfurization (columnar calcium-based moving bed) + SCR (using medium- and low-temperature manganese-iron-based denitration catalysts that are not hazardous waste)\\". The scope of the tender includes all aspects of the project, such as construction drawing design, changes to the overall plant layout, procurement and transportation of equipment (including catalysts for initial filling) and materials, civil engineering construction, installation work, programming and debugging of the automation control system as well as its integration with the tenderer’s existing control systems, staff training, commissioning tests, final acceptance, and post-completion tests. The contractor is fully responsible for project management, quality control, safety, schedule adherence, fire protection, environmental protection, energy efficiency, lightning protection, occupational health and safety, asset inventory, and quality assessment, with the ultimate goal of delivering a \"turnkey\" project that meets technical requirements, performance standards, and quality specifications to the tenderer.
