At the construction site of the project in Jieyang, Guangdong, with the last spherical shell panel precisely fitted and secured in place, the assembly of the project’s core equipment – the spherical tank – was successfully completed recently. Immediately thereafter, the first welding arc was lit at the site of the equipment, marking the official entry of this project into the critical welding phase and taking a solid step toward completion. A total of 2 spherical tanks are to be welded together in this project; each tank has a volume of 3,000 cubic meters. They are primarily used for storing fluids and providing process buffering, and the quality of their construction is directly related to the safety and stability of the entire project’s operation. To ensure the smooth progress of the project, the project team, in collaboration with parties such as the construction contractors, supervisors, and designers, developed a scientific and detailed construction plan. Since the start of the sphere tank alignment work on November 8, in the face of various challenges such as the large size of the equipment, high requirements for installation precision, and a complex on-site working environment, all the construction workers have adhered to the principles of \"safety first, quality foremost, and efficiency priority\", tackling difficulties head-on and overcoming obstacles. The technical team continuously optimized the assembly process and precisely calculated various technical parameters to ensure that the alignment error of each component remained within the specified limits ； At the same time, the construction team carried out the lifting, positioning, and assembly tasks in strict accordance with the operating procedures; the operators worked in perfect coordination, the crane performed precise lifting operations, and the fitters made careful adjustments, ensuring that all work on site was carried out in an orderly and efficient manner.
