On April 21, the signing ceremony for the oversized equipment for the Yueneng New Materials epoxy resin integration project (Phase I) was successfully held. Responsible officials from Lanshi Heavy Equipment, Lu’an Chemical Industry, and Yueneng New Materials gathered at the site to embark on a new journey of cooperation in the field of high-end chemical equipment, thus pressing the ‘accelerator’ for the high-quality construction of this project. The oversized equipment signed for in this deal is part of the first batch of key large-scale equipment for the project; the quality of its installation, construction safety, and manufacturing progress will directly affect the delivery, lifting, and installation of other types of equipment. These factors are crucial for the overall progress of the project as well as its operational efficiency once it is put into use, and they hold decisive significance for the entire project. The epoxy resin integrated project of Shaanxi Yueneng New Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the Shenmu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Shaanxi Province, covering an area of about 1,324 mu, with a total investment of around 13.2 billion yuan. The production capacity is 250,000 tons of epoxy resin, 100,000 tons of POE, and 30,000 tons of EPDM per year. The main construction scale and components of this project include: an 800,000-ton/year methanol-to-propylene (DMTP) plant, a 125,000-ton/year chloropropene plant, a 150,000-ton/year epichlorohydrin plant, a 200,000-ton/year hydrogen peroxide plant, a 300,000-ton/year isopropylbenzene plant, a 350,000-ton/year phenol acetone plant, a 240,000-ton/year bisphenol A plant, a 250,000-ton/year epoxy resin plant, a 100,000-ton/year high-salinity wastewater treatment plant, a 100,000-ton/year polyolefin elastomer (POE) plant, a 30,000-ton/year ethylene propylene rubber plant, as well as the accompanying utility and auxiliary facilities.
