Construction begins on Indonesia’s largest food-grade PET project, undertaken by Sinochem Third Construction Company. Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 750,000 tons per year food-grade PET production facility of Wan Kai New Materials (Indonesia), built by Sinochem Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd.’s Singapore branch, was held in the KSI industrial park in Banten Province, Indonesia. As a leading global manufacturer of bottle-grade PET, Wan Kai New Materials Co., Ltd. is one of the representatives of Chinese manufacturing going global, and it also serves as an important strategic partner for the company in terms of long-term cooperation. The 750,000 tons per year food-grade PET project invested in this time is of great significance. The planned production capacity of 750,000 tons per year for this project in Indonesia will further strengthen its global presence.
