[Haichuan Chemical’s Overseas Projects] China Energy Engineering Group’s consortium wins the JBB Ali wind power project in Oman

Recently, a consortium formed by China Energy Engineering Group International Corporation, East China Institute, and Hunan Thermal Power won the bid for the JBB Ali wind power project in Oman, thereby facilitating the ongoing development of the new energy market there. The project is located in the Jalan Bani Bu Ali area on the eastern coast of Oman, about 440 kilometers away from Port Dhqar. The total installed capacity of the project is 120 megawatts, with 16 large-scale onshore wind turbines of 7.5 megawatt each planned to be installed. The project includes the construction of a 132 kV output system, which is connected to the substations of Oman Electricity Transmission Company through corresponding transmission lines, providing solid support for the stable supply of clean electricity to the region. The consortium will take on all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation and maintenance, to ensure high-standard development and successful delivery of the project.
