On December 13, the successful installation of the core equipment, namely Unit 2 of the plate-type cryogenic tank, at the air separation station of the Rongsheng New Materials project managed by the Southwest Branch of Erhua Construction marked a critical stage in the construction of the project’s air separation system. Unit 2 of this plate-type cryogenic tank weighs 180 tons, is 13.5 meters long, 9 meters wide, and 12.2 meters high; it was lifted into place using a 400-ton crawler crane. As the core unit of air separation plants, the plate-type cryogenic box plays a role in the entire process of \"low-temperature generation – distillation separation – cold energy recovery – safety protection\". Its performance directly determines the product quality, energy consumption level, operational safety, and production continuity of the air separation plant. Once put into use, this equipment will enable the efficient separation of components such as oxygen, nitrogen, and argon in air by precisely controlling the differences in their boiling points, thereby providing high-purity industrial gases for the project’s production. It is a key infrastructure element that supports the expansion of the project’s production capacity and the improvement of product quality.
