On December 17, all pipeline installation work in the area of the old pipe gallery being renovated as part of the Fuhai Innovation Pipeline Gallery project, which was undertaken by the Fujian branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s 13th Construction Company, was successfully completed. This laid a solid foundation for the subsequent critical tasks such as pressure testing, purging, and anti-corrosion/insulation work, thereby facilitating the project’s steady progress toward its completion goals. The pipeline installation in the area undergoing renovation of the old pipe galleries includes process pipelines and utility pipelines made of various materials and with different diameters; in total, 41,625 meters of pipelines were installed, with diameters ranging from DN50 to DN1500. This involves the upgrading and renewal of pipelines used for transporting critical materials such as hydrogen and flare gas. During the construction process, all personnel involved worked day and night at the construction site, carefully mapping out the existing layout of pipelines in the old utility tunnel. By adopting a method of \"decomposing the work into sections and installing them step by step,\" they minimized the impact on other construction activities taking place in the vicinity. By optimizing resource allocation, refining work processes, and strengthening coordination, the project team ultimately completed the planned installation tasks ahead of schedule, earning high recognition from the client and the supervision agency.
