Recently, LANSI Heavy Equipment successfully completed various testing procedures, including hydrostatic tests, on the 450 m³ butane feed tank, the 3,000 m³ isobutane tank, and the 3,000 m³ isobutylene tank that it designed and manufactured for Algeria’s **Oil Company’s 200,000 tons per year MTBE project. These tanks are now in the final stage prior to delivery, and they are set to be put into operation soon. This marks the successful completion of the construction of the core storage and transportation facilities for this project, providing a solid operational foundation for its full-scale deployment. Located in the Arzew Oil Industrial Park in Oran Province, Algeria, this project uses liquefied gas and methanol as raw materials to produce methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), a high-value-added gasoline additive. It is jointly managed by Guangzhou (Luoyang) Engineering Company and China National Import and Export Group Corporation, and represents a key project in energy cooperation between China and Algeria. The 3 spherical tanks provided by Lanshi Heavy Equipment for the project were designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME VIII-2 standards, while strictly complying with the EU CE standards and Algeria’s ARH approval requirements, thus achieving an efficient integration of technical specifications from various countries. During the production process, Lansi Heavy Equipment coordinated the allocation of human resources, equipment, and other resources, strengthened meticulous control throughout the entire process, ensured seamless coordination between various stages of production, and operated efficiently, thus successfully completing the manufacturing tasks.
