Announcement of Candidates Shortlisted for the Procurement of 12 PEM Electrolyzers by China Huaneng Group On January 28, China Huaneng Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd. published a list of candidates shortlisted for the procurement of the electrolysis-based hydrogen production system and PEM hydrogen production systems required for the 450,000-kilowatt wind power-to-hydrogen with integrated green methanol production demonstration project in Tiaobingshan, Liaoning. According to the announcement, for the part of the power system for hydrogen production via water electrolysis, the first bidder is Beijing Leidong Zhichuang Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 123,068,500 yuan ； The second winning bidder is Sunshine Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 120,206,686.00 yuan. For the complete set of equipment in the PEM hydrogen production system, the first bidder is Ludi Hydrogen Energy (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 71.04865 million yuan ； The second winning bidder is CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 808.08 million yuan. According to the project tendering process, the tender announcement for the electrolytic water hydrogen production power system was issued on December 19, 2025. On the 26th of the same month, a tender announcement was issued for the procurement of complete sets of equipment for PEM hydrogen production systems; 12 sets of PEM electrolyzers capable of producing 250 Nm³/h of hydrogen, along with related supporting facilities, were to be purchased.
