On February 9, the main structural framework of the FDPE plant was successfully completed, thanks to the efforts of the Full-Density Polyethylene project team at Huanqiu Jilin Chemical Construction Nantong Blue Sea New Materials. This marks the full completion of the construction of the main structures for the plant’s 6 concrete structures; the milestone was achieved 19 days ahead of schedule, thereby securing valuable time for the subsequent installation work to proceed. The reaction framework for this topping-out phase consists of a 6-story main structure with a height of 33.5 meters; it is one of the key structures in the concrete framework of the FDPE plant. It features a large scale, numerous concurrent construction activities, high safety risks, and significant challenges in terms of construction organization. The project team organized the work scientifically and managed it meticulously, completing the construction of the main structure of the reaction framework in just 70 days and reaching the topping-out stage successfully. This enabled simultaneous control over the quality of the structural formation, safe and civilized construction practices, as well as standardized on-site management, thus demonstrating the project team’s strong ability to coordinate operations on site. Since the construction of the concrete frame for the FDPE facility began on October 20, 2025, all members of the project team have adhered to the principle of \"going all out from the start\" and have worked tirelessly for 112 days in a row, successfully completing all the work related to the construction of the concrete structure. The construction scope includes various key components such as the silo framework, extrusion granulation framework, reaction framework, recovery framework, catalyst mixing and conveying framework, and catalyst unloading platform. Multiple work areas are involved in simultaneous operations, resulting in high intensity of concurrent construction; the site remains well-organized with a steady pace of work. This approach has enabled the achievement of zero safety incidents, excellent quality from the first attempt, and consistent progress leadership.
