Recently, the list of candidates for Phase 1 of the engineering survey work for Jiujiang Petrochemical’s 3 million tons per year PTA project was made public; Beijing Dongfang Xinxing Survey and Design Co., Ltd. emerged as the top candidate, indicating that the survey work for this project is about to enter a substantive phase. Beijing Dongfang Xinxing Survey and Design Co., Ltd. boasts a rich legacy in this industry; it was originally the Survey and Design Institute of Sinopec Group. It underwent a complete restructuring in 2005, moved to Beijing in 2008 and had its name registered accordingly, and was reorganized into its current name in 2018. The company is located in the Fengtai branch of the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park in Beijing, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan. It specializes in services related to petroleum and chemical engineering surveys, and boasts strong professional strengths and extensive experience in this industry. The scope of this tender includes the detailed engineering survey and related technical services for this PTA project, covering tasks such as data collection, on-site inspections, formulation of survey plans, as well as the entire process of surveying, exploration, testing and monitoring, and preparation of survey reports. Additionally, technical support must be provided for the design and construction phases to ensure that the project is built in a compliant and orderly manner. The construction site for this project is located within the Jiujiang Petrochemical Industrial Park, at No. 228 Binjiang East Road, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. The 3 million tons per year PTA project at Jiujiang Petrochemical was officially signed on July 23, 2025. It is a key petrochemical project in Jiangxi Province in recent years, and it constitutes the core part of an integrated aromatic hydrocarbon industry project with a total investment of around 33.2 billion yuan. Upon completion, the project will establish a closed industrial loop from crude oil to polyester materials, and together with surrounding related projects, it will enhance the overall industrial chain of \"refining – aromatics – PTA – PET\", thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the local petrochemical industry.
