On June 20th, the Rongxin Chemical Project in Inner Mongolia reached an important milestone – the pressure testing of the process pipelines began officially, marking the entry of the project into this phase and laying a solid foundation for its completion. The process pipelines of the polyethylene unit in the Inner Mongolia Rongxin Chemical Project are approximately 85.9 kilometers long. The pressure testing conducted this time involves the first set of process pipelines for the project – namely the steam and condensate pipeline system, with a maximum diameter of 300 millimeters. Project overview: The Inner Mongolia Rongxin Chemical Co., Ltd. project aims to produce 800,000 tons of olefins per year; the total investment in this project is 9.83 billion yuan, and it covers an area of 1,887 mu. The project involves the construction of an 800,000 tons/year methanol-to-olefins plant, a 400,000 tons/year polyethylene plant, a 400,000 tons/year polypropylene plant, a 15,000 tons/year 1-butene plant, as well as various supporting facilities. The project uses methanol as a raw material and employs MTO technology to produce polymeric-grade ethylene and polymeric-grade propylene monomers, which are then used in polymerization to manufacture high-density polyethylene and high-performance polypropylene products. By-products such as 1-butene, isobutane, C5+, and MTBE are also generated. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by 2026, with an expected annual industrial output value of 6.67 billion yuan and an industrial added value of 2.08 billion yuan. At the same time, it will effectively extend the local industrial chain for \"methanol-olefins-high-end new materials,\" helping to build a modern coal chemical industry cluster characterized by vertical integration and horizontal cooperation. It will play a key role in serving as a model and driving industrial consolidation and improvement in Dalaat Banner and surrounding areas.
