Power supply to the 10kV substation at the Hebei Zhengyuan project gasification facility

On March 11, 2026, the 10kV substation of the gasification unit at the Hebei Zhengyuan project was successfully powered up at once, with all systems operating normally. The gasification unit substation is the first substation in the Zhengyuan project to successfully receive power supply; it represents an important milestone in the project, signaling that the gasification unit has entered the phase of individual unit testing and instrument calibration. The second phase of Hebei Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy project utilizes HT-L pressurized coal gasification, air deep cooling and liquid oxygen internal compression processes for air separation, Zhengyuan Company’s ZY isothermal shift process, Dalian University of Technology’s low-temperature methanol washing technology as well as domestic liquid nitrogen washing purification technologies, Zhengyuan Company’s JR low-pressure ammonia synthesis technology, and Wuhuan’s CO2 stripping urea process. The project is capable of producing 300,000 tons per year of ammonia, 520,000 tons per year of urea, and 600 million cubic meters per year of hydrogen.
