Recently, the Zhuhai Ecology and Environment Bureau plans to publish a notice regarding its decision to approve the environmental impact assessment document for Zhuhai Wantong Special Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 40,000 tons per year of bio-based high-temperature nylon (Phase I). Project Name: Construction of the Phase I project for an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons of bio-based high-temperature nylon by Zhuhai Wantong Special Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd.Location: No. 177, Shihua Jiu Road, Nanshui Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai, Gaolan Port Economic Zone, Guangdong. The site is within the premises of Zhuhai Jinhua Bio Materials Co., Ltd.
Project Owner: Zhuhai Wantong Special Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd.
Project Overview: The project is located within the premises of Zhuhai Jinhua Bio Materials Co., Ltd. at No. 177, Shihua Jiu Road, Nanshui Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai. It covers an area of approximately 19,523.91 square meters, with a building area of 18,218.76 square meters. The total investment in this project is around 210 million yuan, of which 6 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures ； The main construction contents include: (1) adding a new production line with an annual output of 8,000 tons of bio-based high-temperature nylon ； (2) To improve production efficiency, the existing production capacity of 500 tons per year for polyarylether sulfone will be shifted to the currently idle production lines, and new waste gas treatment facilities will be installed; the total production capacity for polyarylether sulfone remains at 6,000 tons per year. Zhuhai Wantong was originally the special engineering plastics division of Jinfafa Technology; it became an independent company and started operating on its own in 2015. Current production capacity for bio-based high-temperature nylon: 5,000 + 6,000 tons of high-temperature resistant nylon resin PA10T, and 4,000 tons of high-temperature resistant nylon resin PA6T.
