Wanwei High-Tech established a pilot plant for new materials

On March 19, Wanwei High-Tech announced that the company intended to invest in establishing Hefei Pilot New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Pilot Company”), and to use this company as the main entity for building the Hefei Chemical New Materials Pilot Base (hereinafter referred to as the “Pilot Base”). It is reported that the pilot plant company has a registered capital of 20.45 million yuan, and its registered address is in Chaohu City, Hefei Province. Among them, Anhui Juchao Economic Development Investment Co., Ltd. contributed 12.27 million yuan in cash and holds 60% of the shares in the pilot company ； Wanwei High-Tech contributes 8.18 million yuan by using the land use rights for 69.63 mu, as assessed, to hold a 40% stake in the pilot company. Focusing on the development needs of Wanwei High-Tech and Hefei’s chemical new materials industry, this project targets key areas such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), special functional film materials, biodegradable polymer materials, and high-end fine chemicals. It aims to establish a comprehensive pilot platform that integrates pilot testing and research, process scaling up, testing and verification, technology transfer, and industrial incubation, thereby bridging the gap between laboratory achievements and industrial application. This will help Hefei and the entire province build leading chemical new materials industry clusters in China.
