On March 28, the methanol synthesis stabilizer installation for the Shenhua Methanol Synthesis Project in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, which was constructed by the Fourth Branch of China National Chemical 16th Construction Company, was completed two days ahead of schedule. It is reported that the methanol synthesis stabilizer being lifted this time is a key component of the upgrade demonstration project for the \"million-ton-scale domestic production line for coal-based olefins,\" with a height of 47.39 meters, a diameter of 4 meters, and a weight of 132 tons. To ensure a flawless lifting operation, the project team prepared months in advance, tested various plans on multiple occasions, and optimized the placement of lifting points and the layout of the site. Ultimately, an operation method was adopted that involved using a 400-ton crawler crane as the main lifting device and a 300-ton truck crane to assist with the lifting process. Faced with challenges such as strong winds in Inner Mongolia during spring and limited site space, the team strictly followed the process of \"pre-shift briefings, ongoing monitoring, and post-shift reviews\" to ensure precise control over every stage. As a result, zero errors and zero accidents occurred during the lifting operations, laying a solid foundation for the project’s construction.
