Handover of the aromatic reforming project at Jinxi Petrochemical

On April 17, the key technical renovation project of Jinxi Petrochemical Company—the aromatic compounds renovation project—was successfully completed. This marks the full transition of the project into the production preparation phase, providing strong support for the enterprise to improve its efficiency and accelerate its transformation toward a green and low-carbon model. Since the commencement of construction on January 31 this year, the Aromatics Revamp Project has faced numerous challenges, including a tight schedule, heavy workload, and stringent construction standards. Jinxi Petrochemical made overall arrangements, with all relevant units collaborating closely. All project personnel worked tirelessly day and night to overcome difficulties. After more than 70 days of construction, the project successfully met its milestone deadline for handover. This project focuses on the optimization and upgrading of the aromatic units associated with the reforming units, aiming to address production bottlenecks, improve process flows, and enhance the energy efficiency of the units as well as the quality of their products. It represents a key initiative for the company to optimize its industrial structure and promote green and low-carbon development.
