●Nanjing Integrated Chemical Complex: Located in the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park, it is Solutia’s largest integrated chemical facility worldwide. It features eight production units with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons of acetic acid, and also produces products such as vinyl acetate, acetic anhydride, vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsions (VAE), long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics (Celstran®), and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (GUR®). In 2024, the facility completed the expansion of its VAE plant, adding 70,000 tons of production capacity and further strengthening its supply capabilities in the Asian market.
●R&D and Technology Center: The Shanghai Business Technology Center was established in 2011 and is located in Pudong, Shanghai. It integrates the Asia-Pacific regional headquarters, customer application development, and R&D centers, focusing on R&D in areas such as the acetyl product chain and engineering materials.
