On May 13, a public notice was issued regarding the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment documents for the 400,000 tons per year project related to biodegradable modified materials and products made from such materials in Mudanjiang. Construction unit: Xiaocao Green Energy (Mudanjiang) New Materials Co., Ltd. Construction period: June 2026 to August 2026. The total investment for this project is 300 million yuan, with a total land area of 55,120.5 square meters; the site is leased from the economic organization cooperative in Zhongmiehe Village, Dong’an District, Mudanjiang City. Upon completion of the project, it will have an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of biodegradable modified materials and products made from such materials. The project is divided into two phases of construction. In Phase 1, 100,000 tons per year of biodegradable modified materials and products made from such materials will be produced: 4 production lines for biodegradable modified materials, 2 production lines for bubble films, 4 production lines for agricultural plastic films, 6 production lines for delivery bags, 8 production lines for food shopping bags and industrial packaging bags, and 6 production lines for garbage bags. Phase II: Production of 300,000 tons per year of biodegradable modified materials and products made from such materials: 12 production lines for biodegradable modified materials, 6 production lines for bubble wrap, 12 production lines for agricultural plastic films, 18 production lines for delivery bags, 24 production lines for food shopping bags and industrial packaging bags, and 18 production lines for garbage bags.
