Recently, the 800,000-ton olefin project of Shandong Energy Rongxin Chemical reached an important construction milestone, with the centralized lifting of the project’s key large-scale equipment being completed successfully. The construction work involved 8 days and nights of continuous effort, with a total of 7 precise lifting operations carried out. With the ring reactor of the polypropylene plant properly in place, all the core equipment and associated structural frameworks, weighing around 1,500 tons in total, were safely and smoothly installed, marking the official entry of the project into the equipment installation phase. It is reported that this centralized lifting operation is a key control project for the 800,000-ton olefin project, characterized by a large scale of construction, high technical standards, and great operational difficulties. The lifting operations involve various key facilities such as the steam drying framework, loop reactor, buffer tank, and prepolymerization reactor. The heaviest of these units weighs 363.5 tons, and the maximum lifting height exceeds 63.5 meters; the installation accuracy of these key facilities is strictly controlled to within millimeters. At present, the overall construction progress of this project has reached 75%.
