The 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" in 2026: Everyone should talk about safety and know how to handle emergencies; risks and hazards need to be identified and addressed. -- According to publicly available information, HydroEnergyHub has conducted an incomplete tally of the hydrogen energy project registrations across various regions in China from January to May 2026; these projects cover the entire hydrogen energy value chain, including production, storage, transportation, and application. Through its statistical analysis, Hydro Energy Hub found that 13 provinces, including Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Hubei, Guangdong, Shanxi, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Henan, Shenzhen in Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan, and Guangxi, have each announced hydrogen energy projects that have been registered. In total, 241 hydrogen energy projects have been registered, with a total investment of 1,088,659.58 million yuan (approximately 108.866 billion yuan), and a total capacity of 6,205 MW. In terms of project scale, the registered projects with defined scales are concentrated in four provinces: Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and Hubei. Among them, the scale of the project in Inner Mongolia is 5,220 MW, that in Jilin is 630 MW, that in Heilongjiang is 350 MW, and that in Hubei is 5 MW.
