For flow meters and pressure gauges, once they are finalized, if flange connections are to be used, how do we determine the flange grade and size? Is it determined based on the parameters of the pipeline?
Yes, the pressure rating must be the same as that of the pipeline, or one level higher than that of the pressure pipeline. The size of the flange is determined based on the process parameters – whether it is necessary to reduce or increase the diameter, or to keep it the same as the pipe diameter. The pressure requirement depends on the size of the flange you choose; just match it with the appropriate flange
