Man-days?

In the technical services for engineering projects, the relevant regulations regarding training plans include an item called “planned person-days”. What does this mean? Is training 2 people for 1 day equivalent to training 1 person for 2 days? What is the unit corresponding to this? Is it 2 man-days, 2 persons/day, or something else? Thank you~

Training one person for two days costs the same as training two people for one day. The number of person-days is not related to the number of people who participate in the training; it depends on the number of service staff and the number of working days.
