Today is the Lantern Festival; there’s not much to do, aside from the music playing in the supermarket that features tangyuan.
There’s no holiday even for the Lantern Festival, so how can there be any rush to go somewhere? The countryside is a bit better; there’s a certain atmosphere there, while in the cities, there’s hardly any activity during the New Year.
At noon, the company prepared yuanxiao, and each person was given some to eat; it was really annoying. . . In the past, the company would send emails in advance to organize activities such as riddle-guessing sessions in the company dormitory, but there was no such activity this year; I have only participated in it once.
I don’t feel anything. . . I have to go to work anyway
