Some of the reflux tanks are classified as gas-liquid separators, and there is no standard for them ; A portion of the reflux tanks is counted as storage tanks, and are selected according to the standards for storage tanks. So what is the basis for determining whether a reflux tank is a storage tank or a vapor-liquid separator?
Calculating based on the storage tank is fine. Then according to what?
For those with gas-phase extraction, do they not need to be calculated using the vapor-liquid separator specified in 20570?

It is designed based on the gas-liquid ratio at the inlet of the reflux tank. For example, generally speaking, the feed entering the reflux tank is already in liquid form due to condensation by the preceding condenser, with very little gas present; in such cases it is possible to design it simply as a storage tank, by simply selecting an appropriate residence time ; However, for some reflux tanks, such as those at the top of a stripping tower, or in situations where there is a large amount of vapor and a small amount of liquid, both factors need to be taken into consideration together. When necessary, refer to the design of horizontal separation tanks.
May I ask the original poster for the calculation method for the gas-liquid separation tank in gas-phase extraction?
