How do you feel when AI detects design issues at the production site?

There was a mistake on the drawing of a welding joint design; its dimensions did not meet the standard requirements. I was absolutely furious at that moment. . . . Fortunately, in the end the AI gave in, fearing that we wouldn’t hire him again; it only asked for some adjustments to the drawings. :lol:lol

The type of welding joint needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. For different welding joints, as long as their performance is the same, the welding quality is satisfactory, and there is practical experience with their use, it isn’t necessary to require them all to meet certain standards; standards are merely recommended values based on production experience.

Actually, you shouldn’t speak to this AI in that way, even if it’s just a joke. AI gives you a pass, while also taking on responsibility. Only if someone reports it is that one’s job might really be at risk. He is helping you on the condition that it’s safe, not because he’s afraid you won’t invite him. :)

Who will determine whether it’s serious? As an inspector, the responsibility of AI is to conduct compliance checks, without the need to determine the severity. If the AI determines that the situation is not serious and assumes responsibility, the extent of that responsibility is not up to the AI to decide. So, what I mean is that we should be grateful to this AI, rather than making fun of it.
