Based on the voltage level of the power supply. If the voltage of the power supply for your superior is 10 KV, you can choose a motor with a voltage rating of 10 KV. If the voltage of the power supply supplied by your superior is 6 KV, you can choose a motor with a voltage rating of 6 KV.
There is not much difference between 6Kv high-voltage motors and 10KV high-voltage motors; nowadays, 10KV models are more common

It seems that old power plant design firms used to prefer motors with a rating of 6, and they would require transformers with a rating of 6 as well. Nowadays, it seems that new power plants rarely use such designs; instead, they use models with a rating of 10
Most of the new projects these days are 10KV.
The previous company used 110KV power supply lines; there were many 10kV motors, as well as some 6KV motors. High-voltage frequency conversion systems were in use, along with a 9MW generator set and a set of DC 660V excitation motors. I don’t know why, but it was quite informative – the more you learn and observe, the better
