The suction check valve of the LG25II screw compressor produces abnormal noises during shutdown and load application – how to resolve this?

Hello everyone. We have 2 LG25II screw compressors here, and with one of them, a rattling noise is always heard from the suction check valve whenever the unit is started under load. Once the full load is reached and the unit operates for a while, the noise disappears. The suction check valve has been inspected, and all its components are in good condition; there are no issues with the sealing, nor are there any debris in the inlet filter. Yet the noise remains loud during the process of increasing the load. Could someone please explain why this is happening?

When the pressure difference between inlet and outlet is not significant, knocking sounds may occur.
