Recently, the construction of the Xintian Coal Chemical Project in Yili, Xinjiang, is nearing completion; the plant’s flare has already been built and is ready for ignition. The plant’s flare tower covers an area of 100 square meters, has a height of 108 meters, and its material cost is approximately 30 million. On November 15, under clear weather conditions, a technical team composed of the owner, the contracting party, and the construction unit performed a manual ignition of the flare, which was successful on the first attempt. Subsequent steps involve semi-automatic ignition and automatic ignition procedures.

The next step is to wait and see when the gasification torch will be turned on! Hehe
It’s just a test for keeping the torch lit continuously, and such a test holds no real meaning at all. The torch test is not simply a manual ignition test; it should be carried out one by one on the main torch, the acidic gas torch, and the hydrogen cyanide torch, after the system’s airtightness test has been completed and the system has been verified to be suitable. Since there is no planned trial operation, the torch test is merely a simple test that does not meet the required standards.
