It has been found that in some pressure vessel manufacturers, each sheet of steel is assigned a unique identifier, while in other manufacturers, all sheets from the same furnace batch share the same identifier. It is correct to assign one serial number to products that are from the same furnace batch, have the same thickness, meet the same standards, and are in the same heat treatment state. The reason is that products from the same furnace batch have identical chemical compositions and mechanical properties, allowing them to be used interchangeably. No need to consider it

When pressure vessel manufacturers purchase steel plates, if three plates from the same furnace batch are bought at the same time, these three plates should not be assigned the same identification number. There should be a difference; different material inspection numbers need to be assigned.
