Recently, the composition of the raw gas from the two gasification furnaces has changed significantly, with CH4 at 960 ppm. H2: 35.6%, CO: 48%, CO2: 16%. Please, fellow sailors, analyze what could be the reason for this. Furnace temperature: 1300
The furnace temperature should be determined by comparing it with the ash melting point of the coal, rather than relying on the temperature reading alone.
The slag outlet is blocked. . . . This is too obvious
It’s likely that there is a problem with the raw coal – its ash has a high melting point or high viscosity, which causes severe slag accumulation in the downcomer; now the slag outlet has been reduced in size. This results in low carbon dioxide levels even at high temperatures.
The pressure difference in the gasification furnace is also normal, and the slag outlet should be fine as well; however, there are indeed large pieces of slag in the coarse slag. Should the temperature be raised any further in this situation? Do any of you have any good methods?
If there are large lumps of ash, it indicates that the ash fusion temperature of the coal is high, which affects the gasification efficiency; Measures taken: 1. Add some limestone to lower the ash melting point. 2. That is, raising the temperature to ensure normal slag discharge will result in a decrease in effective gas volume.
Another reason could be that there is a problem with the burner itself, resulting in poor atomization; there are also other factors such as changes in coal quality and fluctuations in the oxygen-to-coal ratio
