Do combustible and toxic gas alarms need to be installed on the framework of each floor of the facility? Should it still be placed only on the ground? Its density is greater than that of air.

As per the design, this distribution has specific requirements: those with a density greater than that of air should be installed downward, while those with a lower density should be installed upward

I don’t know much about design specifications, but for frameworks, in some projects I’ve worked on there was a design that included one per floor; however, I’m not sure about the density of the probes used
It must be installed wherever there is a source of release, upwind at the lowest possible frequency; the distance between the combustible gas detection point and the source of release should not exceed 15 m, while the distance for toxic gas detection points should not exceed 2 m.
