Thank you for Father’s Day

He is a person who plays an important role in our lives; he gives us life, teaches us the principles of being human, encourages us to strive for progress, and supports us as we move forward bravely on the path of life. The love he gives us is not often expressed in words, but every step of our growth bears his imprint. Don’t keep seeking new friends in an attempt to build your own life, only to leave him in the background and remember him only on the third Sunday of June each year. The man who once protected us from the elements, who inspired our admiration and dependence, and who took us on trips around the world; a man who never showed tears or sadness, always working hard silently for his wife, children, and family. It is only as we grow up that we realize he has truly aged too, and that he needs holiday greetings as well as our company. How long has it been since you had a proper talk with your father? Tell him you appreciate his hard work. As Father’s Day on June 21 approaches, I wish all the wonderful fathers in the world a happy holiday!
