Acid cleaning and passivation of refrigerant pipes

Hello everyone, I have a question. For a project using R410A refrigerant, the pipes with a diameter greater than 25 mm are made of seamless steel tubes. These tubes have been acid-washed and passivated outside the site; is it still necessary to carry out acid-washing and passivation after the pipes are installed? All pipes are welded.
So can I understand it this way: for this type of pipeline, it’s not necessary to carry out acid washing and passivation outside the site; instead, passivation can be done all at once after welding is completed?
