Selection of lubricating oil for boiler fans

This post was last edited by dongjiang1001 on 2015-6-15 17:17. What kind of lubricant is suitable for the induced draft fans and blowers in cyclic fluidized bed boilers? Can 46# machine oil be used?
Use the grade as specified by the design or manufacturer, or it can be replaced.
It’s still unclear; the information is gone. It was originally using 68#, but now to save costs, we want to switch to 46# used engine oil
What does old engine oil mean? The equipment is having problems; it’s not worth it.
It is the oil stored in the filter when the turbine switches filters
Our factory uses 46# turbine oil.
It can be lubricated with 46# machine oil
Reused engine oil can be used, but only in less critical applications, with the interval between additions and replacements shortened appropriately.
We use 46# mechanical lubricating oil for the exhaust fans in our heating furnaces.
