As the title suggests, dear sea friends, what are the symptoms of a leak in a molecular sieve steam heater? Which parameter changes will be more noticeable? Like dew point, for example. Temperature? How exactly should one analyze and make judgments?
Is there no on-line detection for trace water at the outlet of the heated regenerated gas?
It is important to monitor the data using an online dew point analyzer; if the values are high, the steam heater should be stopped from being used. Find out the cause: whether it is a problem with the instrument or the actual value is too high. If the actual value is high, replace it immediately, and then work on fixing the one that has been replaced gradually.
As water vapor enters the molecular sieve through the nitrogen-containing gas pipeline, it first causes an increase in the temperature at the heater outlet. Secondly, during the heating phase, the temperature at the outlet of the gas used for regenerating the molecular sieve does not reach the required level (it remains low). Additionally, the peak value during the cooling phase does not increase, resulting in a flat-shaped peak (the size of the leakage point determines the length of this flat peak). Judge for steam leakage immediately based on these points.
In cases of severe leakage, moisture will seep out of the nitrogen waste pipeline, at the flanges or at the waste discharge outlet~~
Then what? What level of water volume is considered normal?
Apart from the shutdown due to online monitoring of dew point data, were there any significant changes in other parameters? How do I carry out the maintenance?
Why does the heater temperature rise? Is it because of the latent heat of water absorption by nitrogenous pollutants? Shouldn’t it be the heat released by water condensation?
Can the iron ions in the moisture be analyzed to indicate the degree of corrosion? Additionally, when selecting internal tube bundles, should non-carbon steel materials be considered?
How long will this have to be kept secret? Generally, the dew point meter shows a clear reaction at the time of leakage, after all, the pressure of steam is much higher than that of the regenerated gas
I would like to ask whether it is possible to analyze the ion content in the early stages of leakage? Also, experts, if the dew point is high at first, how long can it last before stopping the machine? What are some good ways to find mistakes?
