For hydrogen production using coke oven gas, a significant amount of water is discharged between the compressor stages, but there isn’t much water before the compressors. Is the amount of water between the compressor stages also similar? How can it be reduced? Thank you
Our company has encountered similar situations; upon inspection, it was found that the leakage was caused by a leak in the inter-stage water cooler of the compressor.
One of the reasons was mentioned upstairs; another one is the issue with the hydrogen production section earlier on. I only know a little bit; I have only carried out preliminary safety assessments for methanol-based hydrogen production.

Gases will absolutely not condense into a liquid phase after being compressed. I asked the equipment engineer at our company, and he said that such a phenomenon does not exist.
The cooling water system has a loose gasket; it has nothing to do with the pressure of the compressed gas.

If the gasket leaks, gas usually seeps into the cooling water, and this type of failure occurs quite frequently. If the gas exhaled by a person contains a high level of water, water will precipitate out after compression and cooling. The temperature of the incoming gas should be reduced as much as possible.
