Do alkylation units use adsorbents such as desulfurization, dehydration, and dearsenification agents? In which work section is it used? Which type of adsorbent should be used respectively? Does the alkylation unit have raw material pretreatment? Are adsorbents such as desulfurization, dehydration, and dearsenification agents used? Does the alkylated oil separation unit use adsorbents?
Depending on the composition of the raw materials, adsorbents may be required. In terms of the process flow of my installation, such adsorbents are not used. The pretreatment of raw materials mainly involves removing acid-consuming substances present in them, such as butadiene, as well as oxygen-containing compounds like dimethyl ether. The specific pretreatment methods depend on the composition of the raw materials; these methods may include hydrogenation, washing, etc. Additionally, the alkylated oil separation device is a coalescer, and no adsorbents are used in it. Instead, physical separation techniques are used.

Washing and coagulation can basically remove most of it. I don’t really understand the rest either :)
