Reasons for the high gas flow rate

In coke ovens heated with coke oven gas, why is the gas flow rate in the main pipes in the basement much higher compared to ovens of the same type, or compared to the theoretical values? What are the reasons?
Is the calorific value of gas the same? Could you provide more details about the situation? The heat consumption in coking is related to many factors, such as the moisture content of the blending coal, its volatile matter content, bulk density (particle size distribution), and the adjustments made to the coke oven !
1. Both coke ovens use coal from the same coal preparation workshop, so the properties of the coal can be considered identical； 2. The gas used for reheating comes from the same chemical production facility, and its calorific value can be considered similar; it is merely the gas flow rates from the two coke ovens that differ significantly.
