Dear friends of SNG: Could someone explain the lining structure of D111 in the DAVY process, especially the area at the bottom outlet?
Reply: The equipment codes vary among different manufacturers; in the methanation process, only the methanation reactor is equipped with a fire-resistant lining. Follow-up question: Which of the companies involved in methanation can provide the gas composition of the methaneation feedstock, along with the data before desulfurization? Thank you very much.
It’s a refractory material; the operating temperature is around 550 degrees, and the bottom is made of dome-shaped corundum bricks
