Light diesel is used as the sealing oil; when the temperature of the medium pumped by the pump is too high, it tends to vaporize, resulting in pump cavitation. Our hot oil pumps all use light paraffin as the sealing oil
Paraffin oil is used for the primary seal (usually the F port), while mineral oil is used for the secondary seal (usually BI for the inlet and BO for the outlet); oil mist lubrication is employed for the bearings
