Could some expert tell me what the range is for the molar ratio of oxygen atoms to carbon atoms in the ideal state of gasification? In other words, how is the oxygen-coal ratio determined before the initial coal feeding?

The oxygen-to-coal ratio results in different equivalents and different chain values. On our end, it’s simple: oxygen flow rate (standard volume after temperature and pressure compensation) : slurry volume; the slurry volume is determined based on the readings from the flow meter

Strictly speaking, the oxygen-coal ratio refers to the atomic ratio of oxygen to carbon. However, detecting, controlling, and calculating this ratio is rather complicated; the atomic ratio is only used in theoretical research and design. In actual production, another method is generally used, namely the volume ratio – the ratio of the volume of oxygen (after temperature and pressure compensation) to the volume of the coal slurry. This ratio is usually kept between 450 and 500, with the specific range depending on the type of coal. Coal types have good slurry-forming properties; when the concentration is high, the volume ratio can be appropriately increased towards the upper limit. Conversely, adjustments should be made carefully upward in accordance with the parameters provided by the technology transfer party. During feeding, the oxygen-coal ratio can be increased slightly to help ensure successful ignition; however, it should be adjusted back promptly once ignition is achieved to prevent overheating due to excessive oxygen.
In actual production, the oxygen-coal ratio indicated is the volume flow rate ratio; this is merely a reference value, so there’s no need to be too strict about it!
